Video is go!
News may have filtered out already but we are proud to announce the launch of the official TPM promotional video. It features some amazing colour footage shot in August 1944 by Flying Officer Brian Harris DFC, serving as a Mosquito Navigator with RAF 627 Sqn. The footage was kindly released to The People’s Mosquito for this use by his son, Dave Harris, and provided by Jim Lloyd, to both of whom we are very grateful. The original footage F/O Harris shot was recorded on, we think, a 16mm hand-held cine camera and was mute, and the sound recordings used in the video feature genuine Mosquito Merlins in flight recorded by sound recordist John Leonard. We are very grateful to John for allowing us to use his work in this production. See the video here.
